Substation - Substation SEK-PEO, Filoktiti Street

 

The measured plot is located on Filoktiti Street in Nicosia. The measurements were performed on the 3rd of June 2008 at 09:00 am. Substation SEK-PEO is situated at a distance of 115 m from the investigated plot.

The substation is rated at a nominal power of 200 KVA. At the time when the measurements were performed, the substation load power was recorded as:

The resultant load of all three phases was 14.4% utilization of the nominal load current.

The highest magnetic field measurement was observed in the outside area, at a distance of 0 m from the front side wall of Sek-Peo substation. The measured value at this point was 1.8587 µT and a percentage of 1.86% as compared to the ICNIRP General Public standards.

The Electric Field measured in the outside area was found to be 1.803 V/m and a percentage of 0.036 % as compared to the ICNIRP General Public standard. Additionally the Electric Field measured in the inside area was found to be 0.872 V/m and a percentage of 0.017 % as compared to the ICNIRP General Public standard.
