On the 17th of January 2006 at 9:00 am electric and magnetic field measurements were performed for the EAC Meter Calibration Laboratory. The measured EAC meter calibration laboratory is located in Meteoron Street in Nicosia.
Limiting exposure values have been provided by the ICNIRP recommendations and are guidelines to many countries and organizations. The exposure limits at 50 Hz are tabulated in the following table according to the limits given by ICNIRP.

The obtained results for the RMS fields inside the substation are shown in table 3 and a comparison is made with the ICNIRP recommendations.

Accordingly the highest Electric Field value measured within the area of the Laboratory was observed in Working Area 2 (1 Phase) with value 2.281 V/m and a percentage of 0.02% as compared to the ICNIRP Occupational standard. This value was measured exactly in front and at the centre of the 1 phase meter calibration equipment.
