Pole Mounted Transformer - 10B Avlidos Street, Leivadia

The measurements were performed on the 10th of December 2008 at 09:00 am. The EMF measurements were performed inside and outside the residence and in direct proximity to the pole mounted transformer.

The pole mounted transformer is rated at a nominal power of 100 KVA. At the time when the measurements were performed, the transformer load power was recorded as:

The Resultant Load of all three phases was 4% utilisation of the nominal load current.

Limiting exposure values have been provided by the ICNIRP recommendations and are guidelines to many countries and organisations. The exposure limits at 50 Hz are tabulated in the following table according to the limits given by ICNIRP.

The highest magnetic field inside the residence was observed in the master bedroom, behind the television, with a value 4.34 µT and a percentage of 4.34% as compared to the ICNIRP General Public standard. Accordingly the highest magnetic field value outside the residence was observed in front of the pole mounted transformer, with value 0.0594 µT and a percentage of 0.0594% as compared to the ICNIRP General Public standard.

A detailed description of the maximum measured magnetic fields inside and outside the residence is shown in the following tables. A comparison is also made with the ICNIRP recommendations.
